About Richard Brodie, Wellington Regional Manager

Originally from Hawkes Bay, Richard began his career working in IT and was soon promoted to a variety of senior management positions that took him as far afield as Fiji and, eventually, to Wellington, where he now lives. For over 14 years, Richard and his wife, Jan, owned and operated a large furniture retailer, which they successfully grew into a 20+ staff business.

Most recently, Richard was business manager at New Zealand Mountain Safety Council, which gave him valuable experience working in the not-for-profit sector.

After hearing about CrestClean and undertaking extensive research, Richard became extremely interested in the business. He believes one of the strongest parts of Crest’s model is its sensible systems and processes. “They are fair to everyone and this makes for a great business environment,” he says, Working for CrestClean has enabled Richard to draw on his strong background in customer service, which he feels is the cornerstone for success in the sector.
